Group Yoga Classes

TUESDAY – 18.00-19.00pm
YIN YOGA
IN STUDIO £9.50 (£8.50 concession), or 5 Class pass £45 (£40 conc.)
Class size: 7 people

We use long-held relaxed floor postures (and often lots of props) to stretch and stimulate the deep, connective tissues of the body. This class is similar to the Sunday yin class but with an emphasis on approaching the poses with a beginners mind. No previous yoga experience required.


THURSDAY – 10.00-11.00am
GENTLE YIN-YANG YOGA
IN STUDIO £9.50 (£8.50 concession), or 5 Class pass £45 (£40 conc.)
Class size: 7 people

This is a gentle yoga class suitable for beginners or those with some yoga experience. We start with long held, meditative yin poses to relax and calm the nervous system, before moving on to a slightly more active (Yang) practice.. This class sometimes includes some gentle self-myofascial release techniques to help relieve tension in those ‘sticky’ areas such as back, neck & shoulders.


THURSDAY – 19.00-20.00pm
BEGINNERS YOGA
IN STUDIO £9.50 (£8.50 concession), or 5 Class pass £45 (£40 conc.)
Class size: 7 people

Who is this for? Those new to yoga or in the early stages of your practice.. As part of a small, relaxed & friendly group, you will explore the fundamental poses of yoga (asana) as well as breathwork (pranayama), meditation and relaxation techniques. Each week will build on the previous week & there will be time for questions & discussion after the end of each session.


FRIDAY 9.30-10.30am
BEGINNERS / GENERAL YOGA
IN STUDIO £9.50 (£8.50 concession), or 5 Class pass £45 (£40 conc.)
Class size: 7 people

This is a general class suitable for beginners or those with some yoga experience. All levels of fitness are welcome. You will learn techniques that will help you to increase your strength and stamina, release tension, improve your breathing and reconnect to your body.


SUNDAY –  12.00-13.00pm

A time to press the pause button & reset.
This is a super chilled & relaxing class where we use long-held relaxed floor postures (and often lots of props) to stretch and stimulate the deep, connective tissues of the body. Great for quieting the mind and promoting deep relaxation. Suitable for all levels including beginners. This class sometimes includes some simple self-myofascial release (myo-yin) techniques to ease tension in the body. No yoga experience necessary.


CORPORATE YOGA
I offer corporate yoga classes to businesses in the Glasgow area. Small lunchtime groups can be hosted at my home studio. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss options.
