1-2-1 Beginners Yoga Sessions

I offer 1-2-1 yoga sessions for beginners or for those returning to a yoga practice after some time out. Sessions focus on the foundational postures (asanas) of yoga, elements of breathwork (pranayama) and mindfulness meditation.

1-2-1 sessions are tailored specifically for you, offering you tools and techniques to achieve your personal health and wellbeing goals – from improving strength and flexibility in the body, building a daily meditation practice, or learning breathwork techniques to help you de-stress.

On and off the mat, yoga helps us to ride the waves of life with more ease and compassion, less stress and anxiety.

From experience I have found that weekly sessions works best booked in blocks of 4 sessions. This gives you continuity of practice, a way to be held accountable and the time to build a new habit, so you begin to establish your own ‘toolbox’ of yoga skills. This is very much up to you though and the idea is for the session to fit in with your schedule. Some students choose to come once or twice per week, while others choose to come once a month. it’s totally up to you!

Sessions are 60 minutes and are held at my home studio in the West End of Glasgow ( ZOOM or in our private garden -weather permiting!- can also be arranged). Sessions cost £35 per hour, with a discount for block bookings. If you’d like more information, please get in touch using the link below.

These sessions are also offered as ‘semi-private’ yoga classes for 2 people. This still allow you the individual attention of a private class, but with the opportunity to practise with a family member or partner. Please get in touch to discuss.
