Louisa is a yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner based in Glasgow. Specializing in 1-2-1 Beginners & Yin yoga, she offers private yoga and small friendly group classes from her home studio in the West End of the city.
Her initial 200 Hour yoga training was with Seasonal Yoga Academy in Glasgow in 2017. Since then she has undertaken specialist trainings in Yin yoga, Mindfulness meditation, Menopause Yoga, Forrest yoga and Yoga Nidra.
She is a qualified massage therapist and Reiki practitioner and has a strong interest in myofascial release to help eliminate pain & restore motion in the body.
YOGA & WELLBEING FOR ALL
With a strong belief that yoga should be available to everybody, Louisa also works as Health and wellbeing coordinator for Garnethill Multicultural Centre, teaching regular chair-based yoga and gentle movement classes to the seniors in the community & those with more limited mobility. She also leads community health walks and teaches ‘Paths for All ‘Strength and Balance’ classes.
She also teaches a regular Yoga for recovery class in the West end of Glasgow.
Louisa is a mum of 4 & a cat, she loves cooking & brewing kombucha. She loves camping & outdoor life. She recently completed the West Highland Way & is hoping to do more long distance walks & start on some Munros! Her first degree was in Fine Art & she holds a post graduate degree in Electronic Imaging.
