Heart Hand Mudra

For When You Want Your Home to Smell like a Spa

This blend is based on an Aveda recipe – and it smells just divine! You will find many other variations of it online. I use in a 600ml diffuser – so you may need less if your diffuser is smaller.

3 drops Lavender
3 drops Bergamot
3 drops Orange
3 drops Rosemary
3 drops Peppermint
3 drops Ylang Ylang

For When You Need Some Focus

Rosemary essential oil has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system so improves concentration and aids memory; while Clove and Peppermint essential oils are great for focus. This has been used a lot during lockdown home-schooling! Try this blend with and without the Clove oil.

6 drops Rosemary essential oil
2 drops Peppermint essential oil
2 drops Clove essential oil

Or this version which is a little more energising:

3 drops Peppermint essential oil
2 drops Rosemary essential oil
2 drops Lemon essential oil
1 drop Eucalyptus essential oil

A Peaceful & Deeply Relaxing Blend

This is a deeply soothing blend with earthy, grounding Vetiver at its base – definitely an evening blend in my opinion.

6 drops Vetiver essential oil
5 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
5 drops Lavender essential oil
3 drops Frankincense essential oil
2 drops Clary Sage essential oil
1 drops Sweet Marjoram essential oil

Remember these recipes are just a starting point – go with your instinct & what smells good to you – bearing in mind that measuring in drops is not an exact science!
